BLIND ITEM: ITAGA man daw sa bato, hinding-hindi raw hahayaang mag-guest ng isang returning female TV host ang kanyang dating gay co-host in a now-defunct program sa kanyang bagong show. And why?
Palagi man daw wala sa bansa si Female Host to join her foreigner husband, kung saan man ito madestino, hindi pa rin niya nakakalimutan ang ginawang “backstabbing” ng Gay Host when they hosted a morning program many years ago. To think that she even recommended him to be her co-host.
When finally working together, kinuwestiyon pa raw ni GH ang ti-tulo ng kanilang programa named after the FH, so the FH opted to have the title changed to a “knock-sounding” one bilang alay sa mga “ilaw ng tahanan.”
Du’n na raw nagsimula ang lihim palang kinikimkim na “insecurity” ni GH, who started making up stories bilang kasiraan ni FH. Isa roon ay ang pagmamaldita raw ni FH sa kanilang staff, palasigaw raw ito, mahirap pakibagayan, etc. samantalang all these allegations ay gawain pala mismo ni GH.
Sa ngayon, ang tanging pinagkakaabalahan na lang ni GH ay isang form ng media, slipping into the sphere of obscurity. The last TV program that GH hosted was a game show that dealt with “cards”.
And now that FH has returned to the fold after being gone for three years, pruweba ng kanyang maayos na pakikisama sa staff at husay sa pagho-host ay ang pagkakaroon niya ng bagong show with the “fatherly beanstalk climber”.
FH vows never to allow even GH’s shadow to surface in her show. Naku naman, need I give more clues?
LAST QUARTER NG 2010 nu’ng umugong ang balitang lilipat na si Aga Muhlach sa TV5, just about the time when either GMA or ABS-CBN talents were bolting the gates of their mother studios.
Pero tikom ang bibig ng ma-nager ni Aga, si Tita Ethel Ramos who even brushed aside ‘yung multiplied by many times na inio-offer ng Kapatid Network sa kanyang alaga. “Naku, ayoko ng milyun-milyong talent fee for Aga, mahirap nang bilangin ‘yun,” was Tita Ethel’s joking way of parrying the persistent inquiry.
But it’s now out: Aga has signed a three-year contract with TV5. Kung anu-ano ang mga proyektong nakalatag para sa kanya are still on the drawing table. But one thing’s for sure, nagpaalam si Aga sa Dos nang wala silang samaan ng loob ng management.
Totoong dinamdam daw ni ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio ang pag-alis ni Aga, but well-understood ang dahilang ibinigay ng aktor that could be summed up in this phrase: time to move on.
For Aga who’s treading a different path now, let the journey begins.
IN HIGH SPIRITS si Marlene Aguilar, ina ni Jason Ivler, nang interbyuhin ko siya mismo sa kanyang tahanan sa Blue Ridge, Quezon City nitong Lunes for a segment called Tweetserye on Tweetbiz Insiders (to air next week).
For the day, ikatlong pagpapaunlak na ‘yon ni Marlene sa media: the first was her live guesting on Starbox, nasundan ng live remote interview ng 24 Oras followed by ours. Challenging sa akin ang assignment na ‘yon for two reasons: una, first time ko to conduct an interview with probably the most visible woman these days na hindi naman showbiz; pangalawa, interesado ako sa pagiging eccentric (read: lukis-lukis) ni Marlene.
Naubos ang 60-minute mini-DVC tape na dala ng aking crew sa interview, such length led me to the discovery of so many hidden truths about the woman, the most astounding of which ay… babaeng bakla pala si Marlene!
“Oo naman, kafatid… tienes-tienesin na natin ito! Alam mo kasi, I have a lot of gay friends. I love my gay friends because they are real,” pag-amin ni Marlene.
Hihirit naman si Jason, “You’re famous because you’re the mother of Jason Ivler!”
Due to spatial constraints, may karug-tong po ang aking kuwento tungkol sa panayam ko kay Marlene Aguilar sa Biyernes.
