THE LONG WAIT IS over, Nyoy Volante launched his latest album, all-original entitled “In You” under MCA Music at Eastwood Open Park. After making a name in the industry and being one of the driving forces in making acoustic. He has remained a true blue musical genius, traipsing uncharted waters and has continued to innovate himself and his craft.
Nyoy is not only an artist for revivals, he makes his own composition and melodies. He brings refreshing change to OPM by breaking into the sea of covers and by coming out with an offering infusing his signature acoustic style with an engaging fresh sound.
Kailangang ma-feel ng listener ‘yung type of song and music na ginagawa namin. Palaging ganu’n ‘yung iniisip namin. Of course, gusto mo rin at kailangan, for your self-fullfilment, part lang ‘yun.
Ibang klase na ang type of music ng “The King of Acoustic Pop”. Kinanta niya ang ilang songs sa latest album like “Time Machine,” ‘Someday,” “In You,” “Walang Hanggan” at Tuluy-Tuloy Pa Rin.”
“Actually, ganu’n naman kami talaga, trade namin ‘yun as a group. We always do that, we always have that quality. It’s just that we’re all excited about this one kasi first project namin ito sa MCA Music. You should always have that thirst to improve ‘yourself. Sa totoo lang, talagang nag-experiment kami and I’m very, very happy sa naging resulta nitong first album ko sa kanila.”
Kahit papaano nakare-relate ka so, not necessary magiging personal experience mo ‘yun.”
Anong reaction ng MCA Music after listining to a new style of music and song ni Nyoy sa latest album niya? “Well, tuwang-tuwa sila, ‘yun nga gustung-gusto nila. Nakaplano na, ipo-promote namin ang album around Asia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. ‘Yung quality ng album I think for international release, pop na pop naman siya. As of now, dito siyempre muna sa Metro Manila then iikot kami sa mga probinsiya.”
The biggest reason why Nyoy continues to reap sweet success is due to the fact the he’s remained grounded all these years. His dynamic stage presence is a total departure to the sincere and good-natured person that he is off-stage.
