NASA PODER na rin ng Viva ang TV host at part time actor na si Paolo Bediones. Nag-decide daw siyang bumalik sa showbiz pagkatapos magpahinga ng halos 2 years at mag-expire ang kontrata sa TV5.
Kuwento niya, “I took a break. It was a deliberate move. I guess I got tired emotionally, physically also.
“I went through a lot and I decided… you know, I have to take time out. So, I was able to do the things that I’ve always wanted to, things I never thought I could, one of which is go back to school.
“So, I’m taking my masters now in AIM (Asian Institute of Management), masters in Entrepreneurship.”
Malaki ang epekto ng controversial na sex scandal video kay Paolo. Ayaw na rin sana niyang mag-comeback pero na-realize niya na gusto ulit niyang magtrabaho sa TV at sa pelikula rin kung may pagkakataon.
“It took a while for me to realize that I really still do love working on television, in front of the camera and behind,” sabi pa niya.
“You know, sometimes, you try to deny it, eh. And during that break, when there were offers, I was able to say no because I knew, I wasn’t 100%, eh. And you know how I work, it has to be 100%, if it’s not, there’s no point.
“So, now I know I can deliver 80 to hundred (percent). We’re getting there,” dagdag niya.
Now that he’s back, handa rin daw siyang muling subukan ang pag-arte na una niyang ginawa noon sa pelikulang Walang Kapalit ng Viva na pinagbibidahan nina Sharon Cuneta at Richard Gomez.
