“Ms. Wilson, social media might be a free world but I think it’s quite irresponsible to express such an opinion unless you are well-versed with the current situation of the city of Manila and how the present local administration has failed to handle it. Moreover, to call 325,288 Manileños, including the 9.4 million Filipinos who voted for him in 2010, “fucking idiots” is harsh and truly uncalled for. Don’t hate without knowing the facts,” tweet ni Jake.
This is an obvious retaliation to Georgina’s earlier tweet in which she said, “ugh i hate politics – but I only have one thing to say: Anyone that votes for Erap is a f***ing idiot.”
Uncalled for naman talaga ang itinuweet ni Georgina. Masyado siyang mapanglait. Masyado niyang inapi ang masang botante ni Erap.
Pero tila may resbak ang maka-Georgina. Ipinost sa Twitter ang nasabing message at meron itong date na October 21, 2009. So, ang pananaray ng team Georgina ay bakit daw late ang reaction ng mga tao at maging si Jake gayong four years ago pa raw ang tweet na ‘yon.
Well, it may have been four years ago but still foul pa rin ang mensahe niyang iyon. Only an ill-mannered woman will tweet something like that.
Apparently, Georgina’s tweet resurfaced during election time. Ayun, nagamit tuloy siya nang hindi sinasadya.
FINALLY, A better singing Cuneta has emerged. Though she’s not banking on her famous surname, Paula Bianca displayed in great abundance her vocal dexterity in her first concert held at the Teatrino in Greenhills last weekend.
As the concert title suggested, Paula Bianca did rock Teatrino with her strong vocals. Opening her concert with Queen of the Night, she reminded us of Lani Misaclucha as we heard strains of her near operatic aria in the first few bars of the song.
Easily, rock has become Paula Bianca’s forte. She’s very at ease in her angst-filled and grungy numbers. After Queen of the Night came a slew of rock ditties like Nosi Ba Lasi, Faithfully, Sweet Child of Mine which was a big hit to her intimate audience.
She also sang the carrier single of her debut album, Napakasakit Naman and her live rendition was far better than her recorded material. We’ve been hearing this song on the airwaves and we didn’t know it was she who sang it ‘til we saw her perform.
Paula Bianca is far better than her megastar relative Sharon Cuneta and even Faith Cuneta. Why? It’s because she’s got stronger vocals than both of them. She’s got fuller voice, that’s why. And she’s flexible enough to move from ballads to R ‘n B to rock.
What she needs to improved on is her stage presence. Kulang pa siya sa rockstar demeanor (read: angas). But vocal-wise, she’s got loads of it.
TILA PINAGLARUAN ni Papa Jack si Nancy Binay sa kanyang Facebook account when he posted this message: “ARE YOU SCARED OF NANCY BINAY? IN TAGALOG: TAKOT KA BA SA DILIM? PEACE :))”
Many took offense and defended the newly-elected senator.
“Porke b walng natapos.maitim ganon n lng nyu husgahan ang pgkato ni Nancy Binay?bigyan natin cya ng chance n mkpg lingkod hindi yong puru negative ang naririnig natin…kya nga ibinoto ng tao kc gusto cya!” sabi ng isang fan ni Nancy.
“Ganyan tlga mga tao ngaun may mapagtawanan lang at my masaBi lang. Eh an0h kung dhl sa tatay nya kya sya bin0to? BuT it d0est mean na wala xang kreDibilidad na mgng senad0ra.. Wag MAKITID ang uTak at wag mgng mapangHusga.. Manalamin muna din kau,” tili naman ng isa pang maka-Nancy.
“Dont judge the book by it’s cover..binoto nla c nancy dhil alam nlang deserving xa sa posisyon niya ngaun..at wag tau tumingin sa panlabas na anyo ng isang tao kundi sa magagawa niya at maitutulong sa bansa ntn..hindi big deal ang pagiging kayumanggi niya,” one wailed.
“Lagot ka papa jack lakas ng trip mo ngayon ha,” sabi naman ng isang nag-comment.
Sa tingin namin ay biro lang ang ipinost ni Papa Jack and many took offense because they see it as an off-color humor.
