Sabi pa niya, “foreign companies tried too but too many dirty, corrupt people to deal with in between. Come on!”

WHEN IT comes to courtship ay practical pala itong si Maxene Magalona. She doesn’t believe na kailangang pahirapan pa ang guy sa panliligaw kung gusto na niya ito.

It has been six months nang single si Maxene and she is enjoying her single blessedness to the hilt.

That makes Maxene’s work a tad easier.
“Parang patawa lang. It’s very casual, very candid. Kung ano ako sa totoong buhay ay ‘yun ang makikita mo rito. Hindi siya formal hosting.”
Being in the business more than half of her life, Maxene has this to say on aspiring talents: “Sinasabi ko sa kanila na hindi madaling mag-artista. Kumbaga, nagbibigay ako ng advice sa kanila as a celebrity kung paano maging artista. Ang gusto lang naming iparating sa mga tao ay ang pag-aartista ay hindi lamang about fame. It’s also about craft, that you have to be passionate about it. kasi kung puro pagpapa-cute lang at gusto mo lang sumikat, kung ‘yan ang habol mo ay walang mangyayari sa ’yo. Dapat mahalin mo kung ano ‘yung ginagawa mo.”
