This saddens us because we know how Tita Ethel Ramos protected Aga like a mother would.
When Aga got embroiled in a major tampuhan with Sharon Cuneta it was Tita Ethel who defended him.
We were told that it was Aga who instigated the separation.
Bakit?
Maybe Aga should realize na he has reached the zenith of his career and nothing can be done to make him hotter than he was before. Actually, he is on the verge of entering has-been-hood. That, he has to admit to himself.
Now that he has more time for himself, maybe, Aga should watch Sunset Boulevard. He might learn a thing or two from the story of a fading star in the character of Norma Desmond.
BENJAMIN ALVES is not at all affected from gossips about his uncle Piolo Pascual.
“Wala po, hindi po kami naapektuhan. Actually, when I saw him in Guam, kinukumusta niya ang pamilya ko,” Benjamin intimated to us.
“I know who he is. Masasaktan po ako kung hindi ko siya kilala. As a family member I’m just here to support him,” the handsome newcomer added.
And if ever he goes through the same rumor, Benjamin will still not be bothered.
“I think it’s part of the job,” he quipped. “As long as I concentrate on my craft, hindi ako mag-aalala roon.”
Quite surprisingly, we observed that Benjamin seemed like Piolo in more ways than one. He speaks like his famous uncle and even sounded like him, too. He is soft spoken and very polite, something which will endear him to his fans.
“Ano po, kung may qualities po ako na ala-Piolo, siguro po good qualities po ‘yon,” he explained. “Kung hindi ko maiwasan ‘yon wala po, ganito po talaga ako,” esplika ng bagong talent ng Mercator.
