Sa presscon ng 8th Sunpiology Run na annual event ng Sun Life Financial na may temang “Sugar Wars” ngayong taon, inamin ng actor na taun-taon talaga siyang nagpapa-drug test. Ini-encourage din niya na gawin ito ng kapwa niya artista lalo na ‘yung voluntary drug test para maiwasan ang kung anumang problema at hindi na pagdudahan pa.
“Oo, para hindi ka na ma-random or sabi nga nila, ‘pag hindi nagpa-voluntarily test, they’ll issue a warrant or whatever. Sabi ko, yeah, I mean you know, if you’re not guilty, then show it,” katwiran ng actor.
Hindi rin maiwasang hingan ng reaksyon si Piolo sa comment ni Agot Isidro na “psychopath” si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Ayon kay Piolo, “I feel bad for Agot, I feel bad for whatever’s happening but we believe in what we believe in and I’m not in a position to (make a) comment on that. You know, that’s their disposition and that’s their stand, so respetuhan lang.”
Samantala, naninindigan naman si Papa P na pro-Duterte siya simula pa noon.
“I’ve always been for Duterte eversince but siyempre, parang in this business, whatever you say is magnified. So, I keep my cool and I just pray for him. You know, I’m not gonna hide that I pray for our President because we need the President, you know, regardless. So, ‘yun lang,” sabi pa niya.
Sa November 19 magaganap ang Sunpiology Run sa Camp Aguinaldo sa Quezon City.
