BLIND ITEM: truth is like a pie, it—more or less—has eight equal slices.
Marahil, sa aming kuwentong ito ay may ilang hiwa rito that bear semblance of truth, or so we hope, based on our tipster na akala mo’y nasa mismong “scene of the crime” involving a popular dramatic actress and an equally popular male heartthrob.
Recent birthday ‘yon ng isang TV executive held at his residence. Sa isang sulok ng kabayahang ‘yon gathered a group of tequila-drinking stars na kinabibilangan, among others, ng aktres at ng young actor na ‘yon.
Hindi ikinakaila ng batang aktor ang kanyang pagiging starstruck sa nakaumpukan niyang aktres, perhaps 20 years or so his senior. But the already inebriated actress (as in bangersya na) gave it a different interpretation. Sa harap ng kanilang mga kagrupo ay tila namamalisyahan na sila sa mga ikinikilos ng aktres, most specially when the actress obviously laid her gooey-gooey eyes on her “innocent prey”.
When it was time to leave, the actress politely requested na ihatid siya ng batang aktor sa kanyang naghihintay na sasakyan. The matinee idol obliged, palibhasa starstruck nga.
Nang makarating sa parking lot, laking gulat ng aktor when the actress suddenly kissed him on the lips. Du’n na nasakyan ng aktor ang kakaibang pagtangi sa kanya ng “wrangler” (read: matanda) actress.
Their closeness, however, did not stop there, as unstoppable as the actress’s constant text messages to the actor na sinasadya na nitong huwag replayan. Eklay ng aktor, nagteteyping daw siya sa mga oras na nagte-text ang aktres sa kanya.
But the word “surrender” does not seem to exist in the actress’s vocabulary. Dumating kasi ang hitad sa puntong ang paraan daw niya to win the actor’s heart was through her generosity, and by that we mean, she gifted the young actor with a piece of jewelry (o, sige na nga, kuwintas na kung kuwintas!).
All the more na natensiyon ang aktor, from the gooey eyes to the peck on his lips to the necklace around his neck (where else?), one could not spell “pagnanasa” any other way. Again, hindi pa rin sumuko ang aktres as she invited the young actor over to her unit. In fairness, nagpaunlak naman ang aktor, but this time, he was more “combat-trained”, kinaray niya kasi ang isang male companion.
Still, the actress had her way despite the pesky presence of the actor’s “prop”. When hauled to the receiving room, nagdrama raw ang aktres na kesyo meron daw siyang ipakikita sa tipelyang aktor. The actor willingly agreed.
Naloka na lang daw ang aktor nang tumambad sa kanya ang silid ng aktres, lighted candles and assorted flowers were in every corner of the room. But just when you thought that the scene would win a Best Production Design award, heto’t umaalingawngaw ang doorbell with matching screaming voice… dumating ang anak ng aktres!
Good for the young actor… he was saved by the doorbell.
