Unang tanong namin sa binata during the contract signing, hindi ba siya nahihirapan na kilala sa industriya ng pelikula ang kanyang parents?
“In the start, parang nakaka-pressure siya but the longer I’ve been in the industry, which is now siguro five years na rin, I’ve realized that it’s actually very helpful, eh,” sagot niya sa amin.
Eh, ano naman ang advice sa kanya ng celebrity parents?
“Yung magulang ko very big mentors for me. Kung halimbawa nagkamali ako sa set or na-traffic ako at late ako alam ko kung ano yung gagawin ko – yung professionalism — I have people to look up to.
“Kung magkamali ako or I made a mistake, sorry lang, diretso lang. Kung napagalitan ako, it’s not personal. These are things that I learned from them, they taught me how to carry myself in the industry and they’ve been very helpful,” wika pa niya.
Malaking advantage din daw na anak siya nina Bibeth at Direk Carlito.
Aniya, “Yung pinagdaanan ko sa showbiz hindi ko masasabi na it’s hard, eh, kasi madali. I’m certainly afforded more opportunities because of the connections I’ve had.
“Parang I just feel like it’s up to me to make the most of the connections. Kaya ako nagti-teatro para I will learn my craft, and the discipline. I think it’s important for me to learn what I have to do for my craft.
“Kumbaga, kung kinuha ako ng director o producer, they need to know that I know how to do my job, so yon ang importante for me.”
