RICA PERALEJO AND her non-showbiz boyfriend Joseph Bonifacio finally exchanged “I do’s” in a beach wedding at Kawayan Cove in Nasugbu, Batangas.
Rica looked resplendent in her simple but elegant empire tube wedding gown. Larawan siya ng isang maligaya at in-love na bride throughout her special day. Bakas din ang saya sa mukha ni Joseph na nakasuot ng white suit.
Kasabay ng paglubog ng araw ay nasaksihan ng mga kapamilya at kaibigan nina Rica at Joseph ang kanilang pag-iisang dibdib. Sadyang hiniling daw ni Rica na gawin sa beach na may rock formation ang kanyang wedding at nakayapak ang lahat ng mga dadalo.
Masaya ang lahat para kay Rica dahil natupad ang kanyang dream wedding. Sabi nga niya noon sa interview ng TV Patrol, “There’s only one day in this lifetime na magpapakasal ka. Might as well do everything to make it perfect.”
Siyempre ang pinaka-inaabangan ng lahat ay ang una nilang halik bilang bagong kasal. Pero espesyal din ang kasal dahil ito mismo ang first kiss ng dalawa mula nang sila ay magkakilala two years ago.

At gaya ng ibang romantic love stories ay maganda rin ang simula nina Rica at Joseph. They first met at the church of the Victory Christian Fellowship where Joseph serves as a pastor. Hindi raw alam noon ni Rica na siya ay isang pastor. She joined Victory Christian Fellowship in 2006 at sinabi niya that her life changed when she found the Lord. Nagkatotoo rin ang sinabi noon ni Rica that she will only get married when she finally finds a “Man of God.” The wedding proposal happened during the celebration of their 10th monthsary at Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay. Joseph planned the proposal with the help of their friends and spiritual family.
Rica grew up before our eyes since she started her showbiz career on the youth-oriented show Ang TV. Ngayon ay isang panibagong kabanata na naman ng kanyang buhay ang ating matutunghayan.
I’m so happy for Rica because she has finally found the love she truly deserves. I’m sure na magiging maligaya sila ni Joseph sa bagong buhay na kanilang tatahakin because they put God at the center of their lives.
