“It was very nice. There’s a lot of fun,” aniya.“We had a lot of fun sa set kasi puro komedyante ang kasama ko. It’s something that I will be willing to do again.”
Batikan na si Vice pagdating sa comedy. How was it pagdating sa mga pumch lines sa mga eksena nila? Was it difficult for him na na makipagsabayan kay Vice at sa iba pang cast ng pelikula gaya ni Alex Gonzaga na natural na komedyante rin?
“Well, a… hindi naman difficult. I had to catch up with them.
It’s his first time also to work with Direk Wenn Deramas. How was it compared to the other directors na nakatrabaho niya before?
“He’s very fast. Not only in terms of shooting time but he’s also very fast in coming out with the script. So we also had to be very fast to be able to keep up with him.”
Like ‘yong mga comic timing at saka ‘yong how he works, ‘yong gano’n.You really have to keep up. Mabilis siyang magtrabaho kasi. So you really have to be very quick also with the ano… especially when you memorize lines. Kasi on the set na kami nagkaroon ng script.”
When the role was offered to him, what was his initial feeling or reaction?
“Ito kasing movie na ito, nag-usap na kami dati ni Vice na we are going to do a movie together. But iba ‘yong plano. It was another movie that we are talking about. And then hindi pa natuloy ‘yon. Because we were supposed to do Be Careful With My Heart: The Movie last year.
“Since hindi natuloy ‘yon, this year nag-usap kami na sabi niya… gagawa ako ng MMFF movie, why don’t we get together and let’s do this together? And I said… sige. Okey ako kaagad kasi meron naman talaga kaming plano to do a movie.”
“Well… konting ano lang. Not really apprehensive about it.Kasi alam ko naming aalalayan naman nila ako.”
“He’s a very nice kid. Very respectful, very ano… he was very professional also. So it was a very nice experience working with Bimby.
But all in all I think si Vice pa rin ang ano… diyan, ang King of comedy diyan.”
“Of course it’s different kapag MMFF. Kasi may ano ‘yan, e… it’s like it’s a contest among all the films that are there. So, there’s a bit of pressure. That we have to do well.”
‘Yon na!
