SA WAKAS AY muling magbubukas sa October 29 ang pinakasikat na bahay sa bansa – ang Bahay ni Kuya – kasabay ng pag-welcome natin sa mga bagong housemates na papasok at magiging borders sa loob ng bahay. Matagal nang inaabangan ang PBB na sinasabing “Teleserye ng Totoong Buhay”. The Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited will be hosted by Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, Martin Concio, and Robi Domingo. Bianca and Robi are former PBB housemates.
Marami na ang nakaka-miss sa boses ni Big Brother. Muli ring masusubukan ang kanyang pasensiya dahil sa mga bagong housemates na may iba’t ibang personalidad. May matalino, may pasaway, may mahiyain, may mahinhin, may astig, may palaban, may palabiro, may seryoso, may sosyal, may simple at may iyakin. Masusubukan din ang abilidad ng mga housemates. Magsasama-sama sila sa iisang bubong sa mahabang panahon at kailangang magaling silang dumiskarte dahil aside from being prohibited to have any form of communication with the outside world, there are surveillance cameras positioned all over the house to watch their every movement. Kaya naman nahihirapan kung minsan ang isang housemate na mabura sa isipan ng publiko ang imaheng naitatatak niya inside the house.
PBB has opened doors of opportunities in showbiz to former housemates like Sam Milby, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Robi Domingo, Matt Evans, Jason Gainza, Ejay Falcon, Mikee Lee, Mickey Perz, Nicole Uysiuseng, Ryan Bang, Hermes Bautista, Tom Rodriguez, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Francisco, Sam Pinto, Niña Jose, and Aldred Gatchalian.
Sinabi ni Robi that being chosen as a PBB host is a big break for him. “It feels really, really great. Noong nagmi-meeting kami, sobrang nakangiti lang kaming dalawa [ni Martin] dahil hindi kami makapaniwala na kami ang pinili ni Direk Lauren [Dyogi] to be part of this unit and finally to host PBB with the greatest hosts of all time Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez.”
Martin is the son of ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio. Gumagawa na rin siya ng kanyang pangalan sa larangan ng hosting. He hosts the Mendiola Debates with me. Mendiola Debates is a Philippine student engagement which goes around different campuses and universities in the Philippines. Martin is also one of the coolest Kabarkada on Studio 23.
Aminado si Martin that he is a big fan of PBB and that he really followed the reality show from the beginning. “I’ve been a big fan since the series started, noong panahon nila Sam Milby. I’ve really followed every season. Sobrang exciting na hindi na lang ako follower, but I’m also part of the show as well,” he said.
