Sa pagpatol sa isang blog
Sharon Cuneta, lumabas na kahiya-hiya

ANG PARODY ay isang literary o musical work na satirical o nakatatawa ang dating. It is also said that such type is a poor or weak imitation of real-life characters in an imaginary situation.

Eksaktong ito ang isinulat ng isang blogger sa kanyang site with Sharon Cuneta and Kris Aquino as his subjects. Mock o kiyeme-kiyemeng interview ‘yon kay Kris. Simple lang ang itinakbo ng panayam, it revolved around subscribing to Twitter, and as we all know, both Sharon and Kris are addictive Twitter users.

May tanong du’n sa interview kung pina-follow ba ni Kris si Sharon on the said micro blogging site, to which ang sagot nito ay, “No, I don’t follow her, but I follow KC.” Or words to that effect.

Isang malapit kay Sharon ang nagkuwento mismo sa Megastar tungkol sa “interview” na ‘yon. Without checking if the interview ever took place, nag-tweet si Sharon ng, “Okey lang. I don’t follow her din naman, eh. Ayoko sumakit ulo ko,” was her loosely constructed reaction.

Na-trace ni Kris from whom the parody came. Civilly though, she asked for the blogger’s mobile phone number from friends who knew him. Tinawagan ni Kris ang nagsulat, inviting him to have coffee, but the blogger politely declined.

Again, nakaladkad na naman si Sharon to another wave of Twitter war. Thank God, she immediately apologized to Kris after realizing that it was all parody on the blog site. In turn, Kris accepted Sharon’s apology.

Analyzing the case, we could not help but laugh over the little “kagagahan” some Twitter users tend to commit. Walang iniwan ‘yon sa isang balita — not yet proven accurate — na agad pinaniniwalaan as if it were gospel truth. Ang ending:  we’re quick to react.

For Sharon who’s one of the few articulate, smart showbiz luminaries, she should know better. Hayan tuloy, she got the biggest and the funniest embarrassment in her life.

WE COULD not help but cut Zendee Rose Tenerefe as she was poised to leave Startalk studio noong mag-guest siya last Saturday only to say, “Good, luck. I like you,” to which isang ngiti lang ang kanyang isinukli.

During her interview, sa halip na nasa floor kami, we were assigned at the control room to do graphics (chargen). Even then, nasapul namin ang ma-damdaming panayam na ‘yon sa YouTube sensation, most specially when the topic meandered on Charice Pempengco’s brickbats on Twitter, na bagama’t hindi naman nito pinangalanan ay obvious namang si Zendee ang puntirya.

Zendee shed buckets as she expressed her desire to simply help her family ngayong kinakasihan siya ng suwerte, wala sa bokabularyo ng baguhang mang-aawit na maki-pagkumpitensiya kay Charice gaya ng gustong palabasin ni Mrs. Pempengco.

Instantly, we felt for Zendee, kung paanong lalo kaming nairita sa ina ni Charice. By the way, proof of Zendee’s instant fame is her instant coffee commercial. Would anyone please drown Mrs. Pempengco with buckets of this coffee brand para nerbiyusin naman ito sa kanyang mga pinagsasasabi?!

WE ARE genuinely happy for Ms. Lorna Tolentino. By 2013, she assumes chairwomanship of the Movie & Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) as soon as the current chief Ms. Grace Poe-Llamanzares gears up for her senatorial bid, although in the meantime ay si Direk Emmanuel Borlaza muna ang mamumuno ng naturang ahensiya.

Mismong si Ms. Poe-Llamanzares handpicked the multi-awarded actress to be her successor. Para sa amin, Ms. LT is most qualified for the post given her filmography, long years of experience, integrity and support by and from the TV and movie industries.

With that, our warmest congratulations to Ms. LT. Pero hindi porke siya na ang MTRCB Chair sa 2013 ay may lisensiya na ang kanyang manager na si Lolit Solis na magluka-lukahan sa Startalk, ‘no!
