MINARAPAT KONG ILATHALA ang liham sa akin ng isang maybahay na may asawang OFW sa isang bansa na may ban sa deployment. Dahil sa kakulangan ng espasyo, hindi ko ito masasagot sa isyung ito. Pero tiyak na ipapaabot ko ito sa mga kinauukulan. Naniniwala ako na marami pang OFW ang may ganitong sentimyento. At isang bagay ito na mas mabuting harapin ng DFA kaysa POEA dahil mas alam nila ang kalagayan sa ibang bansa. – Atty. Ome Candazo
MY HUSBAND HAS been working for 5 years now under American company Brunel Energy in Chad, Africa. Our family have been blessed by God with this job, and has been a channel of blessings to the needy relatives, neighbors and lost souls. The company has been very supportive of their employees welfare in terms of Malaria Visa, requiring Malaria medicines, safe housing for workers, including safety plans from rebel groups as well as insurance coverage of 2 million dollars in case something happens to them while at work. I trust that God will use people like you to save Filipino families from starving.

BAD NEWS! PLEASE read this… I don’t know what is in the mind of the POEA. We’ve been here for almost 9 years including construction and we are safe.
We save money and give good fortune to our family and now they are trying to ban us in this country. There is no war in here and it is more safe than there in Philippines. Here I know that my family will have a good future specially John will take a medicine course. If they banned OFW from here what Job they will give us with a decent life. I believed ganito ang nasa isip nila, bahala na kayo sa buhay nyo at wala silang pakialam kung magutom o mahinto sa pag-aaral ang mga anak namin na nagtatrabaho dito sa Chad. Bahala na ang Diyos sa kanila! In case na ganito I’ll try not to go home till they terminate my contract dahil mahirap makakita ng trabahong may ganito kagandang suweldo. Marahil maximum ko na naman dito eh June 2012 or Dec. 2012. Kaya ko na iyun at nang makapag-ipon tayo ng pondo para sa pag-aaral ng mga bata dahil nasagad tayo dyan sa bahay. Iyan eh kung papayagan ako ng company na huwag umuwi but kapag hindi wala na akong magagawa kung hindi maghanap uli and I’m praying na makakita pa ako ng ganito o higit pa di-to, in Jesus name!
