IT SEEMS LIKE the blossoming romance of Sam Milby and acoustic singing sensation Marie Digby has hit the snag.
“We decided to just be friends,” pag-amin ni Sam.
He admitted that they were once dating pero mahirap daw pala ang long distance relationship since Marie is based abroad. Sam even openly admitted their special friendship in his previous interviews. “But mahirap talaga,” Sam said.
Kung ano man ang mangyayari sa buhay pag-ibig ni Sam in the future, we don’t know. We can only pray and hope for the best because he deserves to love and be loved in return.
Katatapos lamang ng teleseryeng Idol na pinagbidahan niya kasama si Sarah Geronimo and now he has a new indie film titled Third World Happy na entry sa 6th Cinema One Originals. This is his second indie film after Cul de Sac.
In Third World Happy, Sam plays Wesley, a Filipino-American living in New York City na kailangang umuwi ng Pilipinas dahil namatay ang isang mahal niya sa buhay. This is a story of a young man who comes home to his roots after being away for several years.
The movie is directed by EJ Salcedo. Kasama rin sa pelikula sina Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson, Richard Quan, Melissa Mendez, Archi Adamos at Archie Alemania.
Third World Happy is one of the seven entries of the Cinema One Originals 2010 filmfest na ipalalabas from November 10 to 16 sa Shangri-La Mall Cinemas in Mandaluyong City.
Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
