NAG-FIESTA ANG ENTERTAINMENT press sa Pamaskong regalo ng pamilya nina Laguna Governor ER Ejercito at Mayor Maita Ejercito na ginanap sa Zirkoh kamakailan lang. Sa dami ng pina-raffle na cash at appliances walang umuwing luhaan, lahat ay masaya.
Kahit late na dumating ang pamilya Ejercito dahil galing pa sila ng Laguna, buong giliw naman silang sinalubong ng media. Makabuluhan ang naging pahayag ni Governor ER tungkol sa mga pagbabago sa kanyang nasasakupan. Tulad ng Laguna Lake Rehabilitation project, dredging of Napindan Channel and Laguna Lake. Relocation of dredged materials to lakeshore eco-areas. Building of adequate environment-friendly infrastructure for relocation areas and construction of ferry stations. Ilan lang ito sa programang gagawin ni Governor ER Ejercito at Mayor Maita Ejercito sa kanilang lalawigan.
Binanggit din ni Gov. ER ang Dutch proposal to contstruct the Laguna de Bay diking system. “It will maintain the cleanliness of the lake and will prevent further pollution. It can become main source of potable water for Metro Manila and neighboring provinces Laguna and Rizal. It will solve the flooding of Metro Manila and the Provinces of Laguna and Rizal. The Dike could become a circumferential road network for faster travel. The Dike System could also be a major tourist attraction for Metro Manila and Provinces of Laguna and Rizal. Finally, when the Lake is already clean it can now become a major source of different kinds of aquatic resources,” pahayag ni Gov.
Kahit super busy si ER bilang public servant, nasa puso pa rin niya ang pagiging aktor. Katunayan nga, mahalagang papel ang ginagampanan niya sa pelikulang Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote nina Bong Revilla at Vic Sotto na kalahok sa darating na Metro Manila Film Festival this December.
Ipagpapatuloy pa rin kaya ni ER ang kahit governor na siya ng Laguna? “Hanggang may nagtitiwala pa sa akin as an actor patuloy pa rin akong gagawa ng makabuluhang pelikula. Natutuwa naman ako dahil palagi akong napapasama sa Festival. Last year kasama rin ako ni Senator Bong sa ‘Panday’, this time siya ulit with Vic Sotto. Proud ako dahil dalawang higanteng superstar ang makakalaban ko dito sa pelikula namin,” pagmamalaking sabi ni Gov. ER na ngayon lang uli nakaharap ng media people.
LAST YEAR, SA Metro Manila Film Festival, nag-uunahan sa box-office ang pelikula nina Vic Sotto, Ang Darling Kong Aswang; at Bong Revilla, Ang Panday. Isang big-budgeted movie ang Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote na dinirek nina Tony Reyes at Rico Gutierrez under Imus Production, M-Zet Production, GMA Films, Octo Arts Films and APT Production. Andeng at Rowena are also the producers, with Bong’s brother director Marlon Bautista, as executive producer.
This time, Bong and Vic give their first starrer together a new touch and a new twist, combining action and comedy in what could be the fimfest’s probable top-grosser. Hindi naging problema sa kanila ang billing sa pelikula. Vic, more senior than Bong, comes ahead in the billing but Bong’s character comes ahead in the title. Even their scenes are equally divided. Fair, ‘ika nga.
“Totoo ‘yan, kahit sino sa amin ang mauna okey lang sa akin. Iisa lang naman ang gusto naming mangyari. Ito na sana ‘yung pinakamalaking top-grosser sa festival, breaking all the record sa Metro Manila Film Festival,” say ni Vic.
Ikinuwento pa ni Vic kung gaano kasaya katrabaho si Bong. “Napakaganda ng attitude niya sa trabaho, mas maasikaso siya sa mga tao. Personal niyang tinatanong ang pangangailangan sa production maging sa kapwa niya artista,” wika ng actor/comedian.
The film switches from the real world to the fantasy world as the two iconic characters team-up to fight the dark forces. Sina Sam Pinto at Gwen Zamora ang love interests nina Bong at Vic.
