LUIS MANZANO recently turned 32 years old. Ang bilis talagang lumipas ng panahon. Parang kailan lang when he first caught our attention. Who could forget the famous line of Star for All Seasons Ms. Vilma Santos when she called her son, “I Love You Lucky!” on her television shows years ago?
Now, Luis is carving his own name in showbiz. Isa si Luis sa mga artistang masarap interbyuhin because he is witty, intelligent, and honest – mga katangiang namana niya sa kanyang mga magulang.
Luis is indeed a lucky guy. Patuloy ang pagdating ng mga biyaya sa kanya in his personal and professional life. He is happy and you can “smell” it.
Patuloy na gumaganda ang relasyon nila ni Jennylyn Mercado. It seems like he has already found “the one” sa katauhan ni Jen. Handa na ba silang magpakasal? “Kung si Jen ang pinag-uusapan natin, she has a longer way to go. Ako, I’m not getting any younger but I will completely respect, admire and understand na si Jen bago maging asawa, priority niya ang maging isang mabuting ina, which she already is,” Luis answered during his interview with Toni Gonzaga on The Buzz.
Toni commented that Jen is lucky to be in a romantic relationship with Luis. He replied, “But I’d rather say that she is the bigger blessing sa aming dalawa.”
Namamayagpag ngayon ang career ni Luis. Aside from being part of the hit series Be Careful with My Heart, pinatutunayan din niya ang kanyang galing sa pagho-host with his three ABS-CBN television shows Minute to Win It, Pilipinas Got Talent, and Kapamilya Deal or No Deal kung saan kamakailan lang ay nag-guest ang kanyang amang si Edu Manzano. Edu surprised Luis on his birthday episode kaya naman hindi nito napigilan ang maiyak. “Naka-one year na ang Kapamilya Deal or No Deal pero isa po sa mga pangarap ko noong tinanggap ko ang show na ito eh magho-host para sa Daddy ko and tonight my wish is coming true,” pahayag ni Luis sa Deal or No Deal.
May mga pagkakataon that Luis was being compared to his dad who is an excellent host. He told Toni, “You know, just for you to say that [is] maybe one of the biggest compliments a man can ever receive.”
Luis believes that nothing is constant in showbiz.
Kaibigan, usap tayo muli!
