I have been a fan of Ellen Adarna since I first saw her on the cover of a teen magazine many years ago. I thought that she was extremely pretty and had a fun personality.
Then, I was not even surprised that she had transition from being a cover girl to a television actress. She had the looks after all. After many years in the industry, she had proven her worth and acting skills – she is more than just a pretty face.

EARLY LIFE
Ellen was born as Mllen Meriam Go Adarna on April 2, 1988. She is the eldest child and the only daughter to her parents – her mother who is of Filipino-Chinese descent while her father is pure Filipino. Her family owns hotel chains, condominiums and motels all throughout the cities of Cebu, Manila, and Davao.
Their family is the owner of the Temple of Leah in Cebu which is considered that Taj Mahal of the city. Although it’s not a mausoleum, it holds the treasures and memorabilia of Ellen’s late grandmother, Leah Albino Adarna.
CAREER BEGINNINGS
Ellen started her career as an Internet celebrity and a model. Originally a Gravure model, she had already appeared in different magazine covers such as Candy, FHM, Esquire, Preview, Women’s Health, among many others.
She transitioned from being a model to a television actress when she first appeared in the comedy television series Bubble Gang in 2010. From there she began appearing in other television series as well as films.
NOTABLE WORKS IN TELEVISION
From 2010 to 2014 she was in GMA Network appearing in various television series such as Mars Ravelo’s Captain Barbell, Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Double Showdown, Alice Bungisngis and her Wonder Wallis, Indio, Genesis, and Rhodora X.
In the middle of 2014, she transferred to the rival network ABSCBN. For four years she was a mean stay as a performer at the weekly variety show ASAP. She played the lead role in the Philippine romantic drama television series Pasion De Amor, which is a remake of the Colombian telenovela Pasion de Gavilanes. In the series she worked with Jake Cuenca, Arci Munoz, Ejay Falcon, Joseph Marco and Coleen Garcia.
FILMOGRAPHY
Ellen also had steady appearances and roles in various films through out her career. After appearing in Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote in 2010, she landed various roles in the films such as Tween Academy Class of 2012 , My House Husband: Ikaw Na!, Twinkle, Basement, My Illegal Wife, Beauty in a Bottle, You’re Still The One , Dukot, and Moonlight Over Baler.
Her friends and admirers are still waiting for her comeback in the big screen as her last film was almost five years ago.

Ellen had been on hiatus in show business since her relationship with the mega star John Lloyd Cruz. She gave birth to her first child Elias on June 27, 2018 and had become a full time until this year. She made her showbiz comeback via TV5’s John En Ellen where she is paired with John Estrada.
Recently she had become engaged with the actor Derek Ramsay whom she had been dating for less than a year. Had announced her engagement in her social media Instagram at the end of March. Engagement ring is spear shape diamond in gold band.
