Olivia was born Olivia Isabel Rodrigo on February 20, 2003 in Temecula, California. She is of Filipino – German – Irish descent. Her father is Filipino, growing up in a traditional Filipino household.
At an early age, she already was exposed to theater. When she was six years old, she began taking acting and singing lessons. She went to the Lisa J. Mails Elementary School and Dorothy McElhinney Middle School.

Moving to Los Angeles made reaching her dreams easier. She landed the role of Paige in Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark, where she acts alongside Madison Hu, who plays the role of “Frankie”. She played the co-lead role for this comedy show for three seasons.
