GUSTONG LINAWIN ni Martin Nievera ang lumabas na balita wherein na-quote siya na sinabi raw niya na si Toni Gonzaga ang next Concert Queen.
“I love Toni. I think, Gary V and I fight all the time about how we both admire this girl. And she always reminded me of Pops Fernandez.
“She’s versatile, she can sing, she can dance, she can host, she can speak both Tagalog and English, equally fast and equally well. Her charms in front of the camera are her natural ability to speak.
“All I said was, she reminds me of the Concert Queen, Pops. Not that she would be the next Concert Queen. Not saying that she has no ability to be a Concert Queen, but there’s only one Concert Queen. And that’s Pops,” paliwanag ni Martin.
Si Pops naman ay niliwan ang isyung nag-flop daw ang concert ni Toni na siya ang nagprodyus.
“We did very,very well. I’m very happy, I’m very impressed kay Toni. I know she’s a good singer, she could dance. And I know she put, I think more than a hundred percent on that show kasi siya talaga ‘yun.
“When I chose to produce Toni, alam ko magaling siyang kumanta, nakakasayaw siya, magaling siyang magsalita. She’s such a perfectionist. And I think she has her own title which is even better. She really is a much-media artist,” say ni Pops.
