IS MR. Tony Calvento more than a respected print and broadcast journalist kundi isa ring “propeta”?
In his post sa kanyang Facebook page gabi ng Biyernes, April 25, Mr. Calvento (na kumpare pala ni Lolit Solis who’s the godmother of his two kids) “prophesied” that before sunset the following day (Saturday), ang ilang suspek na nahaharap sa kasong serious illegal detention filed by Vhong Navarro “will fall.”
True enough, dakong alas onse y kinse ng umaga in Oras town in Eastern Samar kinabukasan, trader Cedric Lee and alleged cohort Zimmer Raz—na nahaharap din sa kasong grave coercion—fell into the hands of the authorities.

As a figure of speech, parang palay na kasing lumalapit sa manok na si Calvento ang mga balita tungkol sa itinatakbo ng kaso with nary a journalistic effort.
Well, “blame” it on this guy’s credibility as well as respectability that has spawned a network of highly placed connections kung kaya’t ayon nga sa kanyang pabirong pangongorek kay Butch, “Correction please, Butch… I’m two steps ahead.”
Pero pang-iintriga ng kanyang Kumareng Lolit, “Nakooo, ang layu-layo ng bahay niya, ‘no! Dusa talaga nu’ng nag-anak ako sa binyag ng anak niya! Pero lab ko ‘yang Tony na ‘yan!”
