THERE SEEMS to be a plethora of reactions when Vice Ganda tweeted, “Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng Madlang People, Little Ponies at mga Kapamilya (dito sa Araneta at sa kani-kanilang tahanan) na tumutok sa It’s Showtime! Thank you din sa lahat ng nakisali sa Twitter Party at nagpa-trend sa #ShowtimeKapamilyaDay with 6.33M REAL and ORGANIC TWEETS. Patunay lamang na TOTOOng pinag-usapan sa social media ang @itsshowtimeofficial_ig at mga Kapamilya Stars na naging bahagi ng ANIMversary Kick-off ng programa. Maraming Salamat, mga Kapamilya!”
What caught the ire, collectively, that is, of some people on social media, ay ang paggamit ng REAL and ORGANIC ni Vice Ganda. For some, it was not right and somehow CONDESCENDING.
When Vice mentioned ORGANIC, he probably mean that natural na nanggaling ang tweets without the influence of other people. ‘Yun lang siguro ang ibig niyang sabihin. It was not a swipe at someone.
Actually, nag-e-evolve naman ang meaning ng mga salita so sometimes we should not take it against celebrities na gumagamit ng words when they meant something else. Hindi masama ang paggamit ng organic.
Second, Vice was right in saying na hindi naman niya katapat ang AlDub. Iba ang ginagawa niya sa dalawa. He has achieved so much as a solo artist, so there really is no comparison.
Third, Vice knows how to pay it forward sa gay community. To begin with, all his staff members are beki. Isa pa, nang magkaroon ng cross-dressing issue sa isang bar where he is an investor, pumalag si Vice and threatened to pull out his investment.
Fourth, wala nang dapat patunayan si Vice Ganda sa Metro Manila Film Festival. Natalo na niya ang isang Vic Sotto nang ilang beses. Siya ang may hawak ng highest-grossing film.
Just asking, kung confident ang producer ni Vic ng kanyang MMFF movie, bakit isinali nila sina Maine Mendoza at Alden Richards? Hindi ba para matiyak na kikita ang pelikula nila kasi the last time they placed fourth lang sa MMFF box office?
Sadly, Vice is being targeted and being bashed all because of noontime competition. Mayabang daw si Vice. Naku, ateng, mas marami pang mayabang kay Vice sa showbiz, mga feeling na akala mo sakdal linis, eh, burak naman.
