Isa na namang Cebuana beauty queen ang nanalo sa katatapos lang na 2021 Miss World Philippines. Tinanghal na title holder si Tracy Maureen Perez ng MWPH pagkatapos koronahan si Bea Gomez bilang 2021 Miss Universe Philippines.
Ginanap ang grand coronation night ng Miss World PH na tumagal nang halos anim na oras sa Subic Bay Convention and Exhibition Center, sa Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo, Zambales.
Kinabog ni Tracy ang ibang finalist sa sagot niya sa tanong kung ano ang dapat matutunan ng sambayanan sa dinaranas na pandemya ngayon sa buong mundo.
Sinagot ito ni Tracy ng, “After this pandemic, I hope that we never take for granted the family that we have, taking care of our health, and taking care of the people that protect us, our leaders, our frontliners.
“We should always give importance to those people. We may not see the efforts that they give out, but most definitely, they are our modern heroes and for that, we should always be grateful and we should always stick with them and pray for them.”
Nabunyi ang mga kababayan nina Bea at Tracy sa Cebu sa magkasunod na pagpanalo ng kanilang pambata. Umaasa rin sila na maiuuwi ng dalawa ang international crown when they compete for Miss World and Miss Universe, respectively.
Dalawang beses nadulas at bumagsak sa pageant si Tracy. Ang una ay habang rumarampa siya na nasundan naman after siyang koronohan at gawin ang kanyang first walk. Kitang-kita sa camera ang pagbagsak ni Tracy pero kaagad naman siyang tumayo with poise na parang walang nangyaril.
Anyway, naiuwi ni Tracy ang P500,000 cash prize, P2-million worth ng management contract with Arnold L. Vegafria talent management at P500,000 (movie contract).
