“I started joining pageants way back three years ago with an advocacy of I wanted to inform gentlemen, not only gentlemen here in the country, but all people in the world, respectful and God-fearing individuals. So, that’s my advocacy and that is why I wanted to set an example, that is why I joined.
“Now that I won, I became a representative. Next year, sana masungkit natin ‘yung titulo na Mr. Tourism International. First, if I’ll win the title next year, I will work closely with the Department of Tourism because my role as a winner is to promote our country, not only to our country but to all tourism industries all over the world. So, ‘pag sa showbiz binigyan tayo ng chance, and the door is open, why not? So, willing naman tayo doon, ‘di ba?
“Ako naging commercial model na rin ako, nagawa ko na rin like acting, pero ako I wanted to be a host kung sakali dito sa GMA. Kasi sa tourism I like speaking and talking to people. So, I can see myself working as a host. Ako, I look at myself as a host of a travel show na more on tourism kasi eh, sobrang traveler ako, eh. I’ve been out of the country. I’ve been all around the Philippines. I know everything in the Philippines and I look up as a host of GMA like Drew Arellano.”
What if this question is asked during the pageant: ‘How would you define the beauty of the Philippines if there are political chaos in your country?’
“The beauty of the Philippines is given by God to the people. We need to spare the government issues and tourism industry because the Philippines with all due respect to all people in the world, Philippines is a hundred percent creation of God, it is distinct beauty because it is 100% beauty of panoramic scene. We have here the best seasons. Yes, I believe that Philippines is a respectable country. The best that we have here in the Philippines is the genuine friendship and the way we take care of every foreigners that come here in our country.”
“Yeah theater but not musical, hahahaha! Yeah, I can act because of my experience.”
“Magaling magluto! Hahahah!”
