BUKOD SA ipinapatayong dream house ni Yassi Pressman na malapit na ring matapos ay isa na ring successful entrepreneur ang actress-TV host. Pinasok na rin ni Yassi ang pagnenegosyo na ayon sa kanya ay sobr raw niyang nai-enjoy ngayon.
Ang unang negosyong pinasok ni Yassi ay ang Presidential Paws na isang shop store ng dog accessory line tulad ng collars, leashes, feeding bowls at tote bags. Kasosyo dito ni Yassi ang kapatid na si Issa Pressman. December 2020 nang i-launch nila ito and so far, okey naman daw ang takbo nito.
“Presidential Paws is actually opening the Philippine’s first dog park in BGC with Pet Me [Dog Park & Hotel], so it’s gonna be the first dog park there off leash and we’re also gonna do one in The Farm [at] San Benito,” kwento ni Yassi sa amin sa ginanap na digital mediacon pagkatapos niyang mag-renew ng management contract sa Viva Artists Agency (VAA).
Distributor din si Yassi ng World’s Only Toothbrush Speaker System na Wavee. Ito ay isang high-tech toothbrush na puwedeng ikonek sa music streaming apps. Ayon kay Yassi lagi raw sold out ang kanilang Wavee.
Ang pinakabagong business venture ni Yassi ay ang pakikipagpartner niya sa ibang negosyante para magtayo ng nauusong Air BnB vacation home rental na matatagpuan sa Ontario Canada na isang idyllic lake-front property.
“I have I’ve been looking at property investment po and Canada was one of the places that’s why I was excited kasi ’yon po ’yung unang natapos because some of my partners are there and they’re able to build it. And then we’re on Air BnB.
“And we’re just trying that out po. We have a couple of guests in and they’re having a great time,” proud na pahayag ni Yassi.
Twelve years na sa showbiz industry si Yassi simula nung maging contract star siya ng Viva pero ngayon pa lang daw niya in-explore ang kanyang pagiging business minded. Hindi raw kasi niya ito nagawa noon inalagaan niya ang butihing ama na sa kasamaang palad ay pumanaw noong February 2020.
Aniya, “Before po kasi I was never able to put my one into these exploratory investments kasi I always took care of my father. Never ko pong inisip na I would have done it any other way. I will take pride in saying that I took care of my father ever since I was six years old.
“I’m very happy how that has turned out and I want to continue making him proud by securing our future sa kahit ano pong paraan.”
Eh, paano ba niya mina-manage ang kanyang oras bilang entrepreneur at isang artista?
“I just try to time block kasi po I really want to grow more as an individual. Gusto ko po sana makapag- explore pa with my entrepreneurial side. Get advice from a lot of my friend. So, one of the advises is the time blocking.
“Of course, hinding-hindi ko makakalimutan yung main bread and butter and my business for my family, which is acting of course, hosting of course, and performing for you guys. Pero I also want to grow Presidential Paws and Wavee.
So, time blocking lang para magawa lahat,” tugon ni Yassi na bibida sa Pinoy adaptation ng Korean hit movie na More Than Blue kasama si JC Santos mula sa direksyon ni Nuel Naval.
